Lampasas Force FC, the Lampasas
Soccer Association provides Central
Texas soccer players the opportunity to develop
high-level soccer skills in a competitive
environment and at a reasonable price. While
doing so we also strive to instill responsibility,
respect, fairness, self-discipline, and teamwork in
each of our players. We are currently
searching for highly motivated volunteers to fill a
variety of positions within our organization.

Congratulations to the Spring
2009 CAYSA DIII U12 Champions!!!
The Force FC 96
The Lampasas Force FC 96 finished the
season strong by winning the CAYSA Cup Championship
Tournament on Sunday, 31 May 2009 with a 2-0 victory
over the Pflugerville Fire in the tournament's
final match. The Fire had beaten the Force 0-3
in a pre-season matchup and the two teams played to
a 1-1 draw during the regular season. The
force started the tournament Saturday seated second,
below the Pflugerville Fire, but would not be
denied. Most impressive was the fact that the
Force did not give up a single goal in the entire
tournament, winning five games, 7-0, 4-0, 6-0, 2-0,
and 2-0 to claim the championship.

 US Soccer Federation
"E" Certificate Coaching Course
The
Lampasas Soccer Association is conducting a US
Soccer Federation "E" Certificate Coaching Course
from 21 - 23 August 2009. There are no
prerequisites for this course; it is open to all
interested applicants. The classroom
portion will be taught at the old Lampasas High
School and the field sessions will be conducted at
the Gavin Garrett Soccer Park. The fee for the 3 day course is $85.
LSA will pay the registration fee for current LSA
volunteers or anyone who will coach in the LSA
beginning in the Fall `09 Season.

Fall 2009 Registration
The Fall 2009 season
will be here before you know it. Interested players should
contact the respective team coaches to check for
availability of player slots. We will accept dedicated
players from anywhere in Central Texas, with the
understanding that practices and Home Games are held
at the Gavin Garrett Soccer Park in
Lampasas, and away games are held throughout Central
Texas. Registration dates and locations will be
announced here when they are available.

Our Fall
2009 season is rapidly approaching and we are in need of volunteers to
fill critical positions within the organization.

Formal training and certifications are available at
no cost to all club volunteers. Please get the
word out and help us where you can.

Scholarship Availability!
We are happy to announce that we
will continue the "Needs-Based" scholarship program
for the Lampasas Soccer Association.
The application process is now online. Interested players
must complete the online application by clicking on
the link below. Award determination will
be made by the Board of Directors and applicants
will be notified of the result via email.
Businesses or individuals interested in supporting
our players by donating to the scholarship fund
should
contact us for more information.

stickers cover every sport, as well as the Badger
Logo, so feel free to support all your local heroes.
Proceeds will be used to supplement our scholarship
program and to purchase team equipment. We

Referees Needed!
The local referee association is
looking for referees to officiate both the
recreational (USSF) and High School (UIL Certified)
leagues . Training and certification are
available. If your interested in good wages

For those who are interested in playing soccer, but not
ready to commit to a competitive travel club, there are unlimited
spots available for U6 to U12 players in the
Lampasas Boys and Girls Club's recreational
